Summary of Responsibilities:

• Simulate a clinical interaction with a student for assessment purposes
  • Learn the specific history and/or physical signs, symptoms for an assigned patient role
  • Accurately and consistently portray a specific patient role as required by the scenario
  • Respond to intern questions as dictated by the patient script and scenario
  • Demonstrate (act out) symptoms and physical conditions to intern in a realistic manner
  • Attend training sessions as needed
• Assist with student assessment
  • Complete a standardized intern evaluation form
  • Offer constructive feedback to clinical assessment faculty on intern performance as well as program effectiveness
