For payroll purposes, the workweek starts at 12:01 AM on Sunday and ends at 12:00 midnight on Saturday. Normal working hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. However, due to business needs, supervisors or managers may need to schedule employees to accommodate the demands in various departments. Specific hours may vary from department to department. In some situations, flexible scheduling may be arranged based on the needs of the employee and the needs of the business.
