Holidays and Holiday Schedule

Northwestern provides paid time off to all regular full time and regular part time employees (budgeted for 20 or more hours a week) for eleven (11) fixed holidays each calendar year.

*Non-faculty employees required to work on a designated holiday will receive a floating holiday in return to plan and use at their discretion. Floating holidays must be used within ninety (90) days of the holiday.
