Interlibrary Loan Article Request

This is a service reserved for the faculty, students and staff of Northwestern.

Before submitting your request, make sure the article you want isn’t already owned by the Northwestern Library. Requests for journal articles normally take 1-6 days to fill. In some cases we might be able to deliver the article directly to your university email, or we will notify you of its arrival via your university email and you may pick it up at the Information Desk.

You may use this service to find the full text of articles you discover while conducting personal research or finding sources for a paper or an assignment. It is not a replacement for purchasing required articles assigned to you by your instructor.
