Catalog Course Description:

Nei Jing is one of the most important classical texts in TCM, it is a necessary book in TCM studies. This book includes Su Wen and Ling Shu two parts, the main contents are TCM basic theories. This course will introduce the basic and important contents in Nei Jing, which include the theories of Yin-Yang and five elements, organs, meridians, and etiology and pathogenesis; also include analysis of diseases, the methods of examinations, the treatment principles and methods, and the methods of health preservations.

• Understand the basic theories of Yin-Yang, organs, and meridians deeply.
• Recognize the etiology and pathogenesis of diseases in Nei Jing.
• Strengthen the understanding of the treatment principles and methods.
• Recognize the classical methods of diagnosis and the health preservations.
• Strengthen the overall understanding of TCM.
