Northwestern Health Sciences University Graduates Recognized by Allied Health
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – For three of the past six years, the Chiropractor of the Year named by Allied Health has been a graduate of Northwestern Health Sciences University. Allied Health is a United States based network of more than 50 chiropractic clinics located in the Midwest. Nominations are made by the clinics and voted on by a committee.
Northwestern alumni Renata Anderson, DC (’99), received the award in November 2008. “It was a great honor to receive the Chiropractor of the Year award,” she says. “There are so many awesome doctors doing so many great things, I never imagined I’d be chosen.” Selection for the award is based on hard work and efforts of doctors as well as interaction with patients.
The other two Northwestern alumni to receive the Chiropractor of the Year award were Cary Gundlach (’98), who practices in Thorpe, Wis., and Pete Steinhafel (’98), who practices in Nekoosa, Wis.
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and human biology. The University has nearly 900 students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minnesota.
