Northwestern Health Sciences University Holds 30th Annual Alumni Golf Tournament
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. –More than 125 alumni and friends of Northwestern Health Sciences University played in the 30th Annual Dr. John B. Wolfe Alumni Golf Tournament on June 19. The tournament was held at Tartan Park in Lake Elmo, Minn. “Northwestern takes great pride in maintaining a strong alumni community,” said Debbie Peterson, director of alumni, development and career services. “The annual alumni tournament is a great way for our students, faculty and alumni to connect and continue to build those relationships.”
Participants enjoyed picture-perfect summer weather, a round of golf, dinner and prizes. Golfers competed for team prizes for the best low-gross score and the low-net score. The team with the low net score included: Marlyn Comes, DC, (’95); Chad Henriksen, DC, (’95); Dave Huhner, DC, (’96); and Dave Eilertson, DC. The team with the low gross score included: Dan Carlson, DC, (’86); Charles
Thompson, DC, (’89); Trent Thompson; and Jeff Brunn, DC. For the third year running, Drs. Carlson, Thompson, and Brunn have been on the low-gross score winning team.
“This year’s Alumni Golf Tournament was a huge success. Besides the beautiful course and awesome fellowship, everyone had a great time either talking about their past accomplishments and/or supporting each other toward the future success of chiropractic,” said Dave Neubauer, DC, Northwestern Chiropractic College Alumni Association president.
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and human biology. The University has nearly 1,000 students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minnesota.
