Northwestern Health Sciences University Educates Community through New Publication
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Northwestern Health Sciences University’s newest publication, HealthyU – Your Pathway to Wellness, premiered September, 2008. The newsletter focuses on providing consumers with quality natural health care information so that they can make informed decisions about their health.
Deborah Miller, LPN, Northwestern clinic administrator, came up with the idea for the clinic newsletter and has worked with other Northwestern employees to bring it to life. “I hope that in the pages of HealthyU – Your Pathway to Wellness, readers will find the education and guidance they need to begin to identify and remove the barriers on their path to optimal health and well being,” said Miller.
HealthyU – Your Pathway to Wellness features a wide array of topics, including: Northwestern clinician expertise, patient and clinician profiles, self-help tips, clinic news, clinician Q&A, and more.
HealthyU – Your Pathway to Wellness will be mailed out to 5,000 households in the Woodbury, Minn. and Bloomington, Minn. communities, as well as to the homes of 11,000 patients in the University’s public clinic system. The eight-page newsletter will be mailed quarterly in September, January, and May.
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and human biology. The University has nearly 900 students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minnesota. |
