Northwestern Graduates 94 New Doctors of Chiropractic
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. - Northwestern Health Sciences University’s College of Chiropractic awarded 94 students with doctor of chiropractic degrees in mid-November. Nearly 1,000 family members and friends attended the graduation ceremony.
Graduates hailed from 11 different states and two countries. Twenty-two students earned a bachelor of science degree in human biology. Jaceson Hauser, DC, a Northwestern student from the graduating class, delivered the student greeting. The presidential greeting was presented by Mark Zeigler, DC, president of Northwestern. Sherra Natalie Sanders was named valedictorian.
The commencement address was delivered by Keith Johnson, DC, a 1982 Northwestern graduate and chief of staff at Johnson Chiropractic Clinic in Maple Grove, Minn.; a community faculty member at the University of Minnesota Center for Spirituality and Healing; and an adjunct clinical faculty member at Northwestern.
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage, human biology, and integrative health and wellness. The University has more than 900 full-time students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minn.
