Northwestern Health Sciences University Hosts 18th Annual Vendor Day
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – Northwestern Health Sciences University welcomed 58 companies to campus to showcase their products on Nov. 6 at Vendor Day. Booths lined the perimeters of the cafeteria and foyer with representatives from each company displaying their products. Some of the vendors have attended Vendor Day every year for the 18 years the University has held the event. For others, this was the first time attending. All of the companies had a common goal: to meet students, create awareness of the products they offer, and to answer questions and get feedback from students.
Matt Lukens from Immuno Viva was very impressed with Northwestern’s students. “It’s the first time Immuno Viva has participated in Vendor Day,” he said. “Northwestern has very bright students; they give great feedback, and ask better questions than some doctors.”
Debbie Peterson, Northwestern’s executive director of alumni, development and career services, was very happy with the turnout of Vendor Day. “Everything came together great this year. The vendors really enjoy meeting and talking with students,” she said. “I hope students will gain an idea of what products and services will be available when they graduate and start their own practices.”
Northwestern Health Sciences University offers a wide array of choices in natural health care education including chiropractic, Oriental medicine, acupuncture, therapeutic massage and human biology. The University has nearly 900 students on a 25-acre campus in Bloomington, Minnesota.
