Jeffrey Ewald, DC,
is a faculty clinician at University Health Services
and an associate professor at Northwestern Health
Sciences University. Dr. Ewald received his doctor
of chiropractic degree from Northwestern College
of Chiropractic in 1981 and his certification
as a diplomate of the American Board of Chiropractic
Orthopedists in 1991.
As the former director of the Highland Natural
Care Center, Dr. Ewald has more than 20 years
of experience providing chiropractic care in the
community. His interest is in the evaluation,
diagnosis, and treatment of both acute and chronic
neurological and musculoskeletal conditions, including
the more challenging and difficult to treat cases.
Dr. Ewald has supervised thousands of student
interns in his career and he demonstrates his
commitment to chiropractic, not only in technique
and skill, but in compassion and understanding
of the health and well-being of his patients.
He focuses on establishing and promoting a lifetime
of improved health and wellness for his patients,
in addition to identifying and treating specific
health concerns. Dr. Ewald strives to expand his
mind and awareness by remaining current in his
profession through seminars and reading, and continuing
with volunteer efforts in his church and community.
Dr Ewald is active in skating, biking, running,
downhill and cross country skiing, snowshoeing,
hiking, camping, and wilderness trips. He has
spent a good portion of his life around water
- teaching, swimming, guarding, diving, sailing,
paddling, fishing, skiing, and boating. When not
teaching or treating with chiropractic, he and
his wife Jeanne have directed their energy and
resources to growing and guiding their family
(Louise, Charlie and John) into becoming capable,
skillful, and independent young people.
