Carissa Marsh is a clinic manager for the University clinic system and has worked for Northwestern Health Sciences University since 2006. She has an additional five years of experience working in health care. As the clinic manager, Carissa supervises the clinic’s receptionists and supports the educational clinical experience of the student interns as well as the individual clinic supervisors to ensure that patient health care needs are met.

Because of the crucial role of the patient services staff in the University’s clinic system, Carissa plays an important part in the clinic’s goal of being a center of excellence for patient care, student education and customer service. The clinic is dedicated to providing its patients with optimal health and wellness services, and its student interns with superior clinical training.

Carissa has a bachelor’s degree in holistic nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health, where she graduated with honors. She is currently working on a master’s degree in holistic nutrition.

Besides working for the University clinic system, Carissa is also a realtor. She spends her free time with her closest friends, family and 7-year-old boxer named Chloe. Carissa’s hobbies include sports, nutrition, helping animals and traveling.
