Carissa Marsh is a clinic manager
for the University clinic system and has worked for Northwestern Health Sciences University since 2006. She
has an additional five years of experience working in health
care. As the clinic manager,
Carissa supervises the clinic’s receptionists
and supports the educational clinical experience
of the student interns as well as the individual
clinic supervisors to ensure that patient health
care needs are met.
Because of the crucial role of the patient services
staff in the University’s clinic system,
Carissa plays an important part in the clinic’s
goal of being a center of excellence for patient
care, student education and customer service.
The clinic is dedicated to providing its patients
with optimal health and wellness services, and
its student interns with superior clinical training.
Carissa has a bachelor’s degree in holistic
nutrition from Clayton College of Natural Health,
where she graduated with honors. She is currently
working on a master’s degree in holistic
nutrition.
Besides working for the University clinic system,
Carissa is also a realtor. She spends her free
time with her closest friends, family and 7-year-old
boxer named Chloe. Carissa’s hobbies include
sports, nutrition, helping animals and traveling.
