Vicky Haechrel,
NCTMB, a massage therapist at the
Bloomington Natural Care Center, is a 2002
summa cum laude graduate of the massage therapy
program at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
She has worked as a massage therapy clinical
supervisor in the University's public teaching
clinic, at the University’s Natural Care
Center at Woodwinds, as well as being employed
as a massage therapist in the Twin Cities for
the last several years. Haechrel has also taught
several courses in Northwestern's massage therapy
program. These courses included teaching principle
and practice in classical western Swedish massage,
trigger point therapy, and professional studies,
which deal with business and ethics as a massage
therapist. She is also certified in Pregnancy
and Postpartum Massage, and is a member of
the American Massage Therapy Association
“My goal is always to make a positive
change in my client’s health,” explains
Haechrel.
“Because each client's goal may differ from session to session,
I feel it is my responsibility to make each session successful to the unique
needs of the client at that time.”
“I thoroughly enjoy being part of the
School of Massage Therapy and am very dedicated
to the promotion of education in this profession,” adds
Haechrel. “ I also believe that I would
not be an effective teacher if I did not continue
to practice and continue learning hands on.’” |
