Dr. DeVries is named Academic of the Year.
Renée DeVries, DC, associate professor in the College of Chiropractic, was honored by the American Chiropractic Association (ACA) as the Academic of the Year. The award is one of the association’s most highly regarded honors, and was presented at its 2014 Annual House of Delegates meeting in Washington, D.C.
“I was very surprised and honored to be selected as the recipient of this award,” said Dr. DeVries. “It was completely unexpected. It really makes me realize how fortunate I am to be able to do what I do. It is such an honor to have the opportunity to participate in the training of future colleagues. I'm thankful for the great co-workers and students with whom I get to interact on a daily basis.
