Kate Martin | February 11, 2014

30 volunteers are needed for March 2 class.

Northwestern Health Sciences University has an opportunity for youth and teens, ages 12-18, to receive a free baseline concussion test by participating as a volunteer in our Concussion Management training program. The program trains chiropractic doctors and interns on how to administer a post-concussion exam.

Thirty volunteers are needed on March 2. Participants will receive:

  • A free ImPACT Baseline Concussion test and results ($55 value)
  • Neurologic, chiropractic and cranial nerve exams
  • A balance check and additional coordination testing

Students must be present for the entire event, and a parent/guardian must accompany their child to register and to sign the consent and waiver forms.
