CHIP Forum Will Focus on Importance of Grass Roots Advocacy

With featured speaker Dr. David Feinwachs

The Center for Healthcare Innovation and Policy at Northwestern, along with Student Senate, will host “Conversations on Professionalism” featuring Dr. David Feinwachs, former attorney for the Minnesota Hospital Association. Dr. Feinwachs has been a relentless critic of the lack of transparency and accountability in Minnesota’s Medicaid program. He recently testified in Congress about the need for reform in Minnesota public health care programs. This is an issue that impacts the health of Minnesota’s most vulnerable citizens and the reimbursement rates of healthcare providers.

Students, faculty, staff and administration are welcome to attend and engage in conversation on the importance of grass roots advocacy and how individuals can influence public policy.
