More than 120 alumni and friends of Northwestern Health Sciences University competed in the 29th annual John B. Wolfe Memorial Golf Tournament on June 21. The event was sponsored by the Northwestern College of Chiropractic Alumni Association with support from corporate sponsors.
The four-person golf scramble was held at Majestic Oaks Golf Club in Ham Lake, Minn. Participants enjoyed lunch, 18 or nine holes of golf, dinner, and a raffle drawing.
“I’m having a great time,” said Paul Wesby, DC, a 1983 graduate of Northwestern College of Chiropractic. “The weather is much nicer this year.”
The participants competed for the best low-gross score and the low-net score for $500 and $400 team prizes. The team that had the low gross score was comprised of Charles Thompson, DC, a 1989 graduate; Chuck Provinzino; Daniel Carlson, DC, a 1986 graduate; and Jeff Brunn. Dr. Carlson and Dr. Thompson were also on last year’s winning team. The team that had the low net score included Dan Conley, of Eniva; Dave Ashton, of Eniva; Adam Fink, a T8 chiropractic student; and Troy Taffe, a T8 chiropractic student.
The cost of the event was $129 for 18 holes of golf and lunch and dinner, and $60 for nine holes of golf, golf lessons, and dinner.
