Northwestern Employees Recognized for Excellence

The employee recognition program recognizes Northwestern Health Sciences University employees for demonstrating dedication and excellence in their work. Each month, supervisors and coworkers can nominate other employees for superior performance. In August 2009, 15 employees were nominated for going above and beyond in their work.
All nominated employees receive a certificate and memo to their supervisor, and are entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes. Employee of the month prize winners for August were Scott Austen, biomechanical lab coordinator (Best Buy gift card); Dr. Chuck Sawyer, senior vice president (employee parking spot); Janice Truax, copy center operator (Rainbow gift card); and Ralph Stein, copy center operator (Target gift card).
