Dr. Zeigler Announces Departure of University’s Chief Development Officer

Brady Forseth, BA, Chief Development Officer for Northwestern Health Sciences University, will be leaving the institution in late September 2009 to take a similar position with the Starkey Hearing Foundation.
Forseth, who was named the University’s Chief Development Officer in January 2003, will be greatly missed, according to Mark Zeigler, DC, President of Northwestern.
“Brady has done a phenomenal job in building our Corporate Partnership Program from the ground up, and in helping to launch our ‘Imagine Our Future’ Capital Campaign,” noted Dr. Zeigler. “He has also been an important member of the team that has developed numerous high-quality fundraising events for the University, including the President’s Invitational, The Ranger Boat Ultimate Bass Challenge, and the Stars Among Us Gala.”
Forseth has been more than just a fundraiser for Northwestern, said Dr. Zeigler. “He has been an important ‘friendraiser’ for Northwestern and has opened doors to many organizations and individuals that didn’t know about us previously.”
According to Dr. Zeigler, Forseth will assist Northwestern in the weeks ahead to ensure a smooth transition. “We will continue to provide the utmost service and value to all of our donor constituencies, from corporate partners to alumni and employees. I am certain that the staff of the Alumni, Development and Career Services Office, under the leadership of Executive Director Deborah Peterson, will continue to strengthen the relationships Brady has developed for the University.”
“We will be reviewing our development efforts and staffing over the next month, and I expect that we will announce to the campus, our alumni, and our corporate partners what our plan is as we move into the future.”
The Starkey Hearing Foundation, based in the Twin Cities, delivers more than 50,000 hearing aids annually through more than 100 hearing missions a year in countries stretching from the U.S. to Vietnam. In addition to giving the gift of hearing, the Foundation promotes hearing health awareness while supporting research and education.
