The Fall Craft Fair is a seasonal tradition at Northwestern, and it’s just around the corner. The Craft Fair will be Wednesday, Nov. 18, 2009, from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the foyer.
The Employee Council is calling all crafters to reserve table space for the Craft Fair. If you’re artsy-crafty, like to make things, and are looking to make a few extra dollars, they want to hear from you. The table fee is just $15, and you keep your earnings. Space is limited, so reserve your table today. See below for a list of frequently asked questions for more information, or contact Brenda Ruples, assistant controller, at ext. 246.

Q: Is there a fee for a table?
A: Yes, an 8 foot x 30" table is $15.
Q: If I do not need a table, is there still a fee?
A: Yes, exhibit fee is also $15 for an 8 foot x 4 foot space. Multiple spaces can be purchased.
Q: Do you provide chairs or electrical outlets?
A: We provide up to two chairs per table.Electrical outlets are free and available on a first come, first served basis.Please note it on the registration form.
Q: Are you accepting items other than crafts?
A: The preference is to only have craft items.However, if there is room as of November 13, table can be reserved for non-craft items, in the order in which they were received.
Q: How much time is allowed for set-up?
A: Set-up can be donebetween 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. the morning of the Craft Fair.Unloading and loading can be done in front of door #3. Flatbed dollies for loading/unloading are available for use; however, you must load/unload immediately so that others can use them too.
Q: Where can I park?
A: Parking is available in the east and west lots. Parking in designated visitor or patient parking is strictly prohibited.
Q: Will you provide food?
A: No, however the cafeteria will be open during the craft fair.
Q: Do you advertise to the public?
A: In the past we have not advertised to the public. However, we are looking into this option for the current year.
