Flycasting, Anyone? (No, Brad Pitt Won’t Be There)

Posted on May 7, 2008

Try something different on Mondays at lunch and head to the south lawn to learn – or practice – the art of flycasting. You too can start practicing those tight loops. Just bring a rod, or borrow one from Mary Tuchscherer, DC, PhD, a professor at Northwestern College of Chiropractic.

Never tried flycasting? “Think Brad Pitt...”River Runs Through It” says Dr. Tuchscherer. “No experience is necessary. It's pretty, even if you don't fish. But beware, it can be an expensive habit once you're ‘hooked.’” So if the weather is fine, try casting a line on Mondays.
