HealthyU Wellness Rewards Program Will Continue
Have no fear! Just because we may be one Health and Wellness Director down, does not mean that we are discontinuing our HealthyU Wellness Rewards Program! We are now more than six months into the program.
Ten out of the 14 possible criteria for the program are things that you may already be doing as part of your healthy lifestyle or are behaviors that you can modify on your own. You have the choice of completing any of the programs sponsored through the Health and Wellness Department.
The criteria are:
- Participating in a fall incentive campaign;
- Participating in a mindfulness activity once per month by attending relaxation classes; and
- Attending lunchtime wellness seminars.
June’s lunchtime wellness seminar is scheduled for June 20 at noon in the cafeteria conference room and is titled, “Strengthening the Throat Chakra/Thyroid.” Lunchtime wellness seminars and relaxation classes are open to all staff, faculty and students.
Remember, this program must be completed by Oct. 31 to be eligible for the $100 VEBA contribution. If you have questions regarding the 2007 HealthyU Wellness Rewards Program, please contact Lisa M. Franczak, SPHR, benefits and compensation specialist, at ext. 170 or lfranczak@nwhealth.edu.
