Northwestern Employees Recognized for Excellence

The employee recognition program recognizes Northwestern Health Sciences University employees for demonstrating dedication and excellence in their work. Each month, supervisors and coworkers can nominate other employees for superior performance. In October 2009, 26 employees were nominated for going above and beyond in their work.
All nominated employees receive a certificate and memo to their supervisor, and are entered into a drawing for a variety of prizes. Employee of the month prize winners for October were Amy Skarsten, administrative assistant, clinical education (Rainbow gift card); BJ Carl, help desk specialist (Best Buy gift card); Gail Kleckner, accounts technician (employee parking spot); and Dr. Mary Tuchscherer, professor (Target gift card).
