SACA Garage Sale Offers Trove of Treasures

Posted on June 30, 2009

Students are invited to stop by the foyer over the lunch hour this week to check out a garage sale hosted by the Student American Chiropractic Association (SACA). Chiropractic and acupuncture items ranging from posters and text books, to lab coats and spine models are on sale. SACA will receive a portion of the proceeds from the sale.

Business was brisk for the first day, according to SACA member Nick Eyvindsson. “I was pleased. We sold a lot of items,” he said. The sale will continue through July 2, from noon – 1 p.m. each day.

The items were donated by Joseph Costa, DC, a 1985 graduate of Northwestern, who recently closed his practice.
