Standard Process Tour Offers In-Depth Look at Supplements

Students, staff and faculty from Northwestern Health Sciences University will have an opportunity to experience a nutritional supplement company from the growth of the foods through the manufacturing process when they tour the Standard Process farm and plant in Palmyra, Wis., Oct. 1-2, 2009.

Forty-two chiropractic students and massage therapy students, along with seven faculty, staff and guests, will make the trip this term. Standard Process offers the tour once each term, and covers all costs for the trip.

Mary Berg, MA, clinical experiential education coordinator, will accompany the group. “The seminar and tour provide students and clinical supervisorsthe rare opportunity to viewa nutritional supplement company from the growth of the foods through the manufacturing process," she said.
