SUPPORT SERVICES

1. OMA shall endeavor to provide support to faculty on issues of diversity. In the instance where a faculty member shall have a challenge with a student of minority because of the student’s racial, ethnic, gender, socioeconomic background or sexual orientation, OMA shall make the necessary effort to help in providing assistance to such faculty so as to enable him/her to handle the situation.
2. The Office of Multicultural Affairs shall collaborate with faculty in helping them to make their courses multi-culturally inclusive.
3. The OMA shall collaborate with the University faculty and administration to create programs on campus that would address diversity and multiculturalism. Such programs shall include seminars, workshops, forums, etc.
4. Faculty members are also encouraged to visit the Office of Multicultural Affairs whenever they have questions about multicultural issues.
