National Board Exams – National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE)

Parts I, II, III, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture

Exam dates and application deadlines:

Exam dates: Sept. 6-8, 2013
Application postmark deadline: July 2, 2013
Late application cut-off date: July 16 2013 ($50 late fee)

Student eligibility:

Part I: Enrolled at T5 level and above for Fall 2013 trimester.
Part II: Enrolled at T6 level and above for Fall 2013 trimester.
Part III: Enrolled at T8 level and above for Fall 2013 trimester. Must have successfully completed Part I and be within 6 months of graduation prior to the time of the Part III exam administration.

Part IV

Application and exam information:

Fall 2013

Exam dates and application deadlines:

Exam dates: Nov. 8-10, 2013 
Application postmark deadline: Aug. 6, 2013
Submit your Part IV application early to better ensure the testing location of your choice.

Student eligibility:

Successfully completed NBCE Part I and are within 6 months of graduation at the time of the Part IV exam administration.

Application process

To qualify to sit for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Board Exams, you must receive authorization from the Office of the Registrar. It is your responsibility to make sure the application is complete, including all necessary signatures, payment and identification - and mailed on time to the National Board.

  1. Complete and print the online application.
  2. Obtain a passport-size photo.
  3. Obtain cashier’s check or money order payable to NBCE.
  4. Bring completed application, photo and payment to the Office of the Registrar.
  5. The Office of the Registrar will authorize and notarize your application. This is essential or your application will be returned to you causing a possible critical delay.

Photos

At a cost of $2.00, you may have your photo taken in the Audiovisual Department. The photos shedule wil be posted here at least 3 months prior to the exam date.


Board exam review schedule - Parts I, II, III and Physiotherapy

Northwestern prepares you to perform well on board exams. Faculty members conduct board exam reviews on campus for our students, free of charge.

The upcoming National Board Exams review schedule will be posted online when the sessions are scheduled. Sessions are typically scheduled 5-8 weeks prior to the exam date.
