March 2017 Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

Exam dates: March 17-19, 2017

Application deadline: Jan. 24, 2017

Student eligibility:

  • PART 1:   Enrolled as T5 and above for upcoming Winter term
  • PART 2:   Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term
  • PART 3:   Enrolled as T8 and above for upcoming Winter term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time
  • PT:  Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term (after completing 120 hours of instructional time or PT 1, 2 and 3)

April 2017 Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

 Exam dates: April 21-23, 2017

Application deadline: February 28, 2017

Student eligibility:

  • PART 1:  Enrolled as T5 and above for Winter Term  
  • PART 2 Enrolled as T7 and above for Winter Term 
  • PART 3: Enrolled as T9 and above for Winter Term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time

Part IV

Spring 2017 Administration - Part IV

Exam dates: May 19-21, 2017
Application deadline: February 21, 2017
Submit your Part IV application early to better ensure the testing location of your choice

Student eligibility:

  • PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Summer Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time
Fall 2017 Administration - Part IV

Exam dates: November 10-12, 2017
Application  deadline: August 15, 2017
Submit your Part IV application early to better ensure the testing location of your choice.

Student eligibility:

  • PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Fall Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time

Application process

To qualify to sit for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Board Exams, you must receive authorization from the Office of the Registrar. It is your responsibility to make sure the application is complete and completed on-time.

  1. Create a user account at mynbce.org
  2. Review application and payment schedules
  3. Apply for exam and submit for authorization.
  4. The Office of the Registrar will authorize your application online with NBCE.  Please pay close attention to deadlines.  The Office of the Registrar receives requests for approval from NBCE in batches.  Batches received after business hours on the deadline date may not be authorized until the next business day.  Please submit your application by noon to ensure same day approval.
