National Board Exams – National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE)

Parts I, II, III, Physiotherapy and Acupuncture

Application and exam information:

  • Create your online NBCE account at mynbce.org
  • Online application - available 6-8 weeks prior to application deadline
  • NBCE.org - for written exam details, dates, deadlines, fees, sample tests, brochure and more

March 2016 Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

Exam dates: March 18-20, 2016
Application deadline: Jan. 26, 2016

Student eligibility:

PART 1:   Enrolled as T5 and above for upcoming Winter term

PART 2:   Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term

PART 3:   Enrolled as T8 and above for upcoming Winter term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time

PT:  Enrolled as T7 and above for upcoming Winter term (after completing 120 hours of instructional time or PT 1, 2 and 3)

September 2016 Administration - Paper-and-pencil and computer based testing formats

Exam dates: Sept. 16-18, 2016
Application  deadline: July 26, 2016

Student eligibility:

PART 1:  Enrolled  as T6 and above for Fall Term  

PART 2:  Enrolled as T7 and above for Fall Term 

PART 3: Enrolled as T9 and above for Fall Term AND must have passed Part 1 and be within 9 months of graduation prior to test time

PT:  Enrolled as T7 and above for Fall Term (after completing 120 hours of instructional time or PT 1, 2 and 3)

Part IV

Application and exam information:

Spring 2016 Adminstration - Part IV

Exam dates: May 13-15, 2016
Application deadline: February 16, 2016
Submit your Part IV application early to better ensure the testing location of your choice.

Student eligibility:

PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Summer Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time

Fall 2016 Adminstration - Part IV

Exam dates: November 11- 13, 2016
Application  deadline: August 16, 2016
Submit your Part IV application early to better ensure the testing location of your choice.

Student eligibility:

PART 4:  Enrolled as T9 and above for Fall Term AND must have passed all sections of Part 1 and be within 6 months of graduation prior to test time

Application process

To qualify to sit for the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners (NBCE) Board Exams, you must receive authorization from the Office of the Registrar. It is your responsibility to make sure the application is complete and completed on-time.

  1. Create a user account at mynbce.org
  2. Review application and payment schedules
  3. Apply for exam and submit for authorization.
  4. The Office of the Registrar will authorize your application online with NBCE.  Please pay close attention to deadlines.  The Office of the Registrar receives requests for approval from NBCE in batches.  Batches received after business hours on the deadline date may not be authorized until the next business day.  Please submit your application by noon to ensure same day approval.
