ORAC is the administrative
office within the University responsible for:
- Providing pre-award services for sponsored projects
(e.g., proposal development, subrecipient arrangements,
proposal submissions).
- Facilitating and monitoring awards to the campus
for support of the faculty research and other sponsored
projects.
- Ensuring campus compliance with federal, state,
and university regulations pertaining to research
administration.
- Coordinating federally-mandated oversight functions
(e.g., Northwestern's Institutional Review Board,
Data Safety and Monitoring, Financial Conflict of
Interest).
