Jeffrey R. Lockhart

My two passions when it comes to massage therapy are helping new learners begin their entry into the profession and bringing massage to people who may not have the opportunity or the means to access it.

I have been with Northwestern since 2006 as a teaching assistant for classes in Anatomy and Physiology as well as some of the first hands-on courses students take at Northwestern. I really enjoy the challenge of finding a way to make things “click” for students who might need their information presented in a different way.

My clinical practice, since the fall of 2006, has been at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, MN. I work as part of an integrated team in the Complementary Care Therapies Department. We work with patients’ doctors, nurses and other caregivers as well as the inpatients themselves to aid in pain, anxiety and nausea reduction. Working at Regions gives me the opportunity to work with a broad spectrum of patients.
