NWHSU logo Office of Student Affairs

The Office of Student Affairs provides leadership for the development of the support services and non-classroom opportunities, and serves as an advocate for student needs within the University community.

The Student Affairs office is a place to go when you have a question and don't know the answer! Please stop by and visit us, or drop us an e-mail. We also handle judicial affairs, behavioral issues, oversight of student organizations, and we are the ones to talk to if you have a complaint, problem, comment or idea!

Orientation for new students is scheduled the week before classes each trimester. Orientation is designed to acquaint new students with each other as well as with the campus. Students also begin meeting faculty, staff, and students of the Northwestern community. Certain administrative tasks are also resolved such as payment of fees, acquisition of books, issuance of ID cards, and similar matters. All new students are required to attend orientation. Orientation is coordinated through the Student Affairs office and the Admissions Department.
