On Purpose Club Mission Statement:
• To provide up-to-date
information to the student body about issues facing the
chiropractic profession and related fields, including the
science, politics, and philosophy of chiropractic
• To stimulate and
encourage students to think critically about these issues
• To provide a
variety of "On Purpose" speakers to share their ideas
and experiences in practice and in life
• To help inspire
and motivate students to develop their purpose and become
the best chiropractors possible!
What Do We Actually Do?
  The
club receives the On PurposeT audio series, which is a monthly
3-CD set hosted by Drs. Gentempo and Kent that engages some
of the greatest minds in chiropractic as they explore the
topics of Science, Politics, and Philosophy. Since 1994,
subscribers (including students!) worldwide have attributed
On Purpose as their sole means for keeping them abreast
of vital developments, events, and issues within the chiropractic
profession and related fields.
This series normally costs
$359.80 for a yearly student subscription, but every month
the club checks in the new On PurposeT set to the school
library for all students and faculty to enjoy FREE
!!! If you haven't done so yet, go take advantage
of this awesome opportunity. The series can be found in

Besides providing the On PurposeT
audio series to the students and staff of Northwestern,
we also bring in various speakers throughout the year to
speak on any and all topics chiropractic. Historically,
"On Purpose" speakers have focused on subjects such as developing
purpose, chiropractic philosophy, business management, vaccinations,
malpractice insurance, as well as many other subjects.
Who Can Be A Part Of The On Purpose
Club?
The On PurposeT audio series
is in the library for anyone to use, and when we have speakers
come in, the entire school population is more than welcome
to come and see what they have to say. Events/speakers will
be posted around school, on our web-page, and will be sent
out via school e-mail. Come check us out!
