The Student Ambassador
Club is a student-run organization
which prides itself on improving
the comfort level felt by current
and incoming students. We know what
it is like to be in your shoes and
we want you to feel at home by the
time you begin your first day on
campus. Join us for an upcoming
event run by current students, designed
to help you understand life as a
student at Northwestern.
Shadow

you will attend class, eat lunch,
meet other students and faculty,
ask questions and most importantly,
learn about Northwestern first-hand
from students who know what it is
like to be here.

The purpose of the Student
Ambassador Club is to ease the entrance into Northwestern
Health Sciences University by providing new and prospective
students exposure to the campus and to a "student's
way of life" through various events and activities
on campus. All members of the Club have joined because
of their interest in promoting the natural health
care professions and representing the University at
organized events.
Quotes:
For
me, choosing a University was like choosing my best
friend. I understood that once I graduated, I would
have to live with that decision for the rest of my
life. I was looking for honesty, integrity, and a
welcoming environment. The Student Ambassador Club
gave me the evidence to make my decision. I wanted
the "inside scoop" and they gave it to me!
Why would students speak so highly of their education
and take time out of their busy schedules to answer
all my questions? The answer, of course, was the tremendous
experience each were having. Upon matriculation, I
joined the Student Ambassador Club and have since
shared my experiences with students via phone calls,
emails, chat rooms, and visits to campus. (Hint: Visits
are the best way to get to know Northwestern Health
Sciences University!)
Corey Schuler, recent Chiropractic graduate
The
Ambassador Club and its student volunteers' sole purpose
is to help prospective and incoming students. The
Ambassadors share their experiences, learnings, and
advice in order to make a new student's transition
easier. A prospective student is able to ask any question
of an Ambassador, shadow them at classes before they
enroll, and even more valuable, meet students and
program professors. I don't know of any other University
that makes this service available.
Mary Grady, recent MCAOM graduate
The
Student Ambassador Club is a great resource for future
students. Talking to current students is the best
way to get questions answered regarding workload,
classes, life as a student, etc. A previous Student
Ambassador was very helpful and honest answering questions
while I was researching schools for Massage Therapy.
Shawna Eischens, Recent Massage Therapy Program
Graduate
