Events this past trimester

Homecoming was a great event for our SACA group. This year, like every year, we had a silent auction. This is put on for the doctors and students to raise money for our yearly trip to Washington DC to attend the National Chiropractic Legislative Conference. We had our best year yet in terms of fundraising. We had over 60 awesome donations from such companies as Lloyd tables, Nutrition Dynamics and Scrip, which helped raise over $5000 for the trip. This was a great year for us, in the past we have raised about $2000 at Homecoming but this year was exceptional. While in Washington DC, we have the great pleasure of donating to the National Chiropractic Legal Action Fund, the ACA- Political Committee, and Chiropractic Research.

At Homecoming, we also had the great opportunity to work Valet parking. We joined forces with the Student Senate and the Student Ambassador Club to pull this event off. Everyone enjoyed parking the doctors cars in below zero weather conditions. This event helped raise $1500 to donate to the Norman Horns Legacy Scholarship and The National Chiropractic Legal Action Fund. Next year this will be offered once again and hopefully be even a bigger success.

Valentine's Day Bake Sale was held on February 13th this year. We had lots of goodies to sell as well as T-shirts and Acme Comedy Club Tickets. We would like to thank all the faculty, students and staff for buying the treats and donating money. You helped raise over $300 this year.
