


The Culture & Arts Committee is a fun way to reach out to all the students, making them aware of the different cultures, arts, and activities going on in the Twin Cities area.

The House Committee is the liaison between students and staff members on issues related to school facilities. Its goal is to try to find a solution to the various concerns students express, as well as the maintenance and improvements of the student lounge. Lastly, the committee members oversee the fitness center and make suggestions on improvements.
The Seminar Committee organizes various speakers throughout the trimester. This tri the committee members are bringing in Dr. Gonzalez to talk about functional neurology. He will be doing a seminar on Sat. the 27th of March. The committee also hopes to have Kathy Marshall from the National Resilience Resource Center give a seminar on tapping natural resilience and well-being.

The Social Committee plans and excutes all school
events including the Halloween Party, Spring Fling
and Summer Jam.

The Student Senate Volunteer committee plans, communicates and advocates various volunteer opportunities both on and off campus. Its mission is to raise awareness about the value and need for volunteering and to instill an ongoing commitment in all Northwestern Students to develop relationships, have pride and share joy through volunteering. Future plans include Volunteer Challenge 2004--starting this May. Watch for more details soon!
