All new students are required to attend orientation to ease the transition into academic and student life. Orientation is designed to acquaint new students with each other and the larger campus community, including faculty and staff.

Chiropractic, Acupuncture & Oriental Medicine and Massage Therapy students
Your Orientation includes an overnight trip to visit the Standard Process facilities in Wisconsin. Buses will begin loading at the school on Thursday, January 5 at 10:45 am and return to the school on Friday, January 6 at approximately 8 pm. Your schedule is the same as the above but also includes:

- We will assign you a roommate, or
- You may submit a roommate request at Orientation on Wednesday, or
- You may contact your admissions representative if you have an extenuating circumstance regarding rooming needs.
Recommended Packing List:
- Items for the bus ride: music, electronics, book, snacks
- Business casual attire for dinner, comfortable but professional for the tour with closed toed shoes required.
- Swim suit for pool at hotel (if desired)
- Sleepwear, toiletries
- Exercise clothes / shoes for Fitness Center at hotel (if desired)
- Notebook or laptop/iPad for taking notes

Thursday, January 5
10:45am Buses begin loading in East Parking Lot (Door #4)
Lunch provided. Make your own boxed meal in hallway by Lecture Room 1 before boarding buses.
11:30am Buses Depart
Be prepared for a fun activity planned during the bus trip to Standard Process, but also bring a snack and a book or music to keep you busy!
Make sure to bring any of the assignments you were given by professors yesterday!
5:00 - 5:30pm Estimated arrival time and hotel check-in

6:00 - 7:30pm Cocktails / Buffet dinner
Dress Code: business casual attire—be professional but comfortable.
7:30 - 9pm Campfire and Activities

Dress Code: comfortable but professional—nice jeans are acceptable, closed toed shoes required.
Pack up your room and bring your bags to the lobby.
8:00am Meet in the lobby
8:15am Buses depart hotel for Standard Process
9:00 - 12:00pm Manufacturing plant tour / certified organic farm tour
12:00 - 12:45pm Lunch
12:45 - 3:00pm Various Standard Process Seminars
3:00pm Buses leave Standard Process
Boxed meals will be provided
8:00pm (approx.) Return to Northwestern Health Sciences University

Prior to attending New Student Orientation, you are required to read the following policies and documents (also listed on the Admitted Students Checklist).
