Details

  • Pick up your cap and gown in the University Bookstore on the morning of rehearsal - Thursday, Aug. 7 before noon.
  • Take your cap and gown home - press the gown if needed. Bring your cap and gown with you on Saturday for the graduation ceremony.

Graduation ceremony

Graduation ceremony - schedule and details

2:00 p.m.

Arrive and go to room L5 to get dressed in your cap, hood and ironed gown.
Guests may go directly to the auditorium. Unlimited seating is available.

2:50 p.m.

Line up. Remain quiet and listen for your name to be called. Check the other students in line next to you to be sure that everyone is in order.
Enter the auditorium in line per program (CAOM, Undergraduate, Massage Therapy). Pick up a program on your way into the auditorium.

3:00 p.m.- 4:00 p.m.

Graduation ceremony - lasts until approximately 4:00 p.m.

After ceremony
4:00 p.m.

Return your cap, gown and hood to room L5.

Reception
4:00 p.m.-5:00 p.m.

A reception and celebration is held in the cafeteria at Northwestern Health Sciences University immediately following the ceremony. 

Diploma - one week after graduation

Your diploma will be available approximately one week after graduation. You will receive an email when your diploma is ready for pick-up or mailing.
