Nurse Practitioner Services
Nurse practitioners are primary care providers who specialize in chronic or acute conditions. The nurse practitioner can see you for preventative care, routine exams, illness or injury. Our nurse practitioner is an advanced practice registered nurses (APRN). She completed additional education including a master’s degree with a specialty focus and a doctor of nursing practice.
Our nurse practitioner focuses on you as a whole patient - beyond your immediate symptoms - treating the illness, counseling, and providing education to enhance your quality of life. She also confers with our other healthcare providers to optimize your treatment.
Our nurse practitioner can treat:
- Colds, flu, sinus infections
- Asthma, bronchitis, pneumonia
- Headaches
- Diarrhea and constipation
- Hypertension
- Mental health, depression, anxiety
- Diabetes
- Thyroid conditions
- Ulcers, reflux
- Minor suturing and splinting
Our nurse practitioner services are offered in collaboration with the University of Minnesota School of Nursing and the Center for Spirituality & Healing.
