Special Interests

  • Pregnancy-related issues
  • Chronic pain

I am a doctor of chiropractic at the Bloomington Natural Care Center and University Health Services, and an assistant professor in the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Services University.

I received three years of post-graduate residency training in geriatric care.  I am certified in Activator Technique, an instrument-assisted adjusting technique, and Graston, an instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization technique.

I thoroughly enjoy working with interns and patients simultaneously to achieve the best possible results for patients and an incredible learning experience for our students. My approach to health care is one that promotes the body’s own desire to heal itself, coupled with a patient-centered, evidence-informed approach.

I have had many unique and respected post-graduate experiences. I was the director of Chiropractic Consultative Services within a hospital setting where I treated patients with chronic and debilitating neurological conditions. I helped open New York Chiropractic College’s satellite clinic in Rochester, NY. I was a research fellow who helped implement chiropractic care within a long-term care facility.

I was also chief of staff for Northwestern’s partnership clinic at the Pillsbury House Integrated Health Clinic in Minneapolis, MN. My experience and various health care positions have broadened my knowledge and expertise for treating a diverse patient base.
