About the Clinic
Integrative health care
The Natural Care Center at Woodwinds is an integrative health clinic of Northwestern Health Sciences University founded in partnership with HealthEast Care System. The clinic is located in Woodbury, Minnesota on the Woodwinds Health Campus – a full-service hospital, emergency care, outpatient services, education and community resource center.
We believe integrative health care focuses on the importance of the relationship between healthcare provider and patient. The care is informed by evidence, and makes use of all appropriate therapeutic approaches, healthcare professionals and disciplines to achieve optimal healing and wellbeing.
Research and other evidence shows that collaboration among and integration between multiple healthcare disciplines are the best ways to deliver care and that patient outcomes are better as a result.
Our patients are seen by faculty clinicians. For chiropractic care, our faculty clinicians are assisted by upper-trimester students of Northwestern.
Our clinical services include chiropractic, acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, massage therapy, naturopathic medicine, physical therapy and healing touch.
