William Hejny, DC, a doctor of chiropractic at the Natural Care Center at Woodwinds, promotes a proactive approach to natural health care. His formal education includes a doctor of chiropractic degree earned in 1982 from Northwestern College of Chiropractic. For 18 years he was in private practice at Arcade Family Chiropractic in St. Paul, Minnesota, displaying his ongoing dedication to diversified care and treatment. His background includes a focus in modalities such as acupuncture, herbal supplements and nutrition.

In November of 2000, he joined the Natural Care Center, where he emphasized the chiropractic method of care. He helps people with a variety of conditions from neuromuscular extremity work to headaches. He also refers patients to other modalities of care, when appropriate, within the Natural Care Center.

He views his approach to care as a team effort where the patients and doctors cooperate with each other to obtain the optimal level of care. Functioning in a role as a health counselor, Dr. Hejny strives to "get patients functional and stable…I want each person to have control over their own life, instead of having a condition that controls them."
