Biography

Special Interests

  • Soft tissue injuries
  • Repetitive motion injuries

I am a doctor of chiropractic, chief of staff and an assistant professor at the Natural Care Center at Woodwinds. In my practice, I supervise student interns who are in clinical rotations during their last year at the College of Chiropractic at Northwestern Health Sciences University.

My first experience with chiropractic and natural health care came about because I needed those services myself as a young adult in undergraduate school. The relief I obtained and the great experience I had changed the direction of my studies and ultimately influenced my career choice.

I enjoy working at the Natural Care Center and feel that being in a multidisciplinary, integrated clinic allows our patients to achieve greater health and wellness. My philosophy of care includes treating a person as a whole, not just as a sum of individual parts and conditions.

I have a general family practice and like to utilize many styles of chiropractic adjusting and therapies to get results. I have a special interest in soft tissue and repetitive motion-type injuries. My additional certifications in Graston Soft Tissue Mobilization Technique and chiropractic acupuncture help me to effectively treat these types of conditions.
