I am a doctor of chiropractic at the Natural Care Center at Woodwinds. I am a member of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners and an associate professor at Northwestern Health Sciences University.
I founded and directed for more than two years the Burnsville Natural Care Center, a teaching clinic of Northwestern Health Sciences University and later became director of the Bloomington Natural Care Center. I joined the Natural Care Center at Woodwinds in early 2000. I was one of the developers of the mentorship model of care for Northwestern’s clinic system.
I have served as a primary research clinician in several studies conducted by Northwestern’s Wolfe-Harris Center for Clinical Studies. My research interests included carpal tunnel syndrome, low back pain, sciatica and migraine headache. I enjoy and succeed in helping those with difficult and chronic conditions. In addition, I continue to expand my areas of study by attending numerous continuing education seminars in chiropractic areas including sports medicine, nutrition, motion palpation and orthopedics.
I take a dual approach in treating my patients by creating proper motion of the spinal segments along with balancing and strengthening the muscles. This allows for greater stability and longer-lasting results through chiropractic care. I have seen phenomenal results with all age groups, ranging from young children to the elderly.
