PBPH Summer Update
Flexible design, exceptional educational experience
We are so excited you are considering taking the next step of your healthcare education with Northwestern Health Sciences University (NWHSU). We know pursuing your new career during an uncertain time can be a challenge, but we are committed to ensuring this will not compromise your education. That’s our promise to you.
Because of the Coronavirus (Covid-19) outbreak, the summer term will begin in an online learning environment. We will continue to provide your education in this online format until it is safe to reopen our campus and hold in-person classes.
If you are facing relocation challenges, and would like to start on June 1, 2020, you will still be able to start your education remotely. We will offer General Chemistry 1 and 2 and Physics 1 and 2 in an online environment throughout the summer term to accommodate your needs. We will provide a remote lab option so you can take online versions of these courses. Students may audit the same in-person lab in a future term, free of charge, if they require an in-person lab experience.
If the campus is unable to open this summer due to COVID-19, we are prepared to offer all scheduled classes remotely. All classes taken this term will still help you make progress toward your desired career goal. Additionally, we are prepared to provide the same level of student support that sets our Post-Baccalaureate program apart. This support includes MCAT prep tutoring, career help, personal narrative help, application guidance, and more to all students in all learning environments.
Our faculty are tracking the latest changes and considerations healthcare and professional school admissions committees are making due to COVID-19. They are prepared to help you navigate the adaptations to the application and review process, including considerations for coursework completed during pandemic term(s).
We are committed to your success. For more information on applying to the PBPH program, please contact an admissions counselor today. Call 952-885-5409, connect with us via Live Chat, email, or schedule an admissions counseling call today.
