Radiographic Findings and Differential Diagnosis

RADIOGRAPHIC FINDINGS:

Large, sharply marginated shadow in left parahilar region. Left heart border visible. Absence of normal lung markings on left with increased radiolucency superior and lateral to mass. Right lung within normal limits. Heart within normal limits.

DIFFERENTIAL DIAGNOSIS:

  • Large, bulky, parahilar neoplasm with well-defined margins
  • Spontaneous pneumothorax
