Homecoming 2024: Blake Johnson

Blake A. Johnson, M.D. is Medical Director and Director of CNS Imaging at the Center for Diagnostic Imaging. He completed his undergraduate work and received his medical degree from the University of Minnesota. After radiology residency training, he completed a neuroradiology fellowship at the Barrow Neurological Institute. His first appointment was staff neuroradiologist and subsequently Chief of Neuroradiology at David Grant Medical Center in California. He also had an appointment as Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at the University of California, San Francisco. After relocating to the Twin Cities, he had a clinical appointment as associate professor at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.

Dr. Johnson authored and co-authored numerous articles and book chapters on topics including intracranial pathology, head & neck imaging and spine injection procedures. He lectures extensively on these areas of interest, and has been invited to speak at several national and international society and educational meetings.
