Homecoming 2024: Shiloh Heesch
Dr. Shiloh Heesch is originally from New Effington, SD in rural northeastern South Dakota where he lived with his parents – Rick & Wanda – and two older sisters. He attended Rosholt High School and grew up as a multisport athlete playing football, basketball, and track & field. Following high school, he chose to attend North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, to pursue an Exercise Science degree where he remained for his freshman year until transferring to Dakota State University in Madison, SD where he played football and was involved in various clubs and activities, including attending the Northland Regional ACSM meetings.
After completing his bachelor’s degree in 2016, Shiloh attended Northwestern Health Sciences University and became an active member of clubs and activities. He served on the SACA Sports Council for two terms, among other leadership positions, and spent his final year completing an internship at the NWHSU Human Performance Center.
Following his graduation in April 2021, he began to practice in Sioux Falls, SD where he was the team chiropractor for the Women’s Football Alliance team, the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards, and the NBA G-League team SiouxFalls Skyforce.
He recently began his master’s program at Concordia – St. Paul in Exercise Science with a research project in the works for his thesis. In July 2022, Shiloh was accepted as the newest Sports Chiropractic Resident at the NWHSU Human Performance Center in Bloomington, MN.
