Homecoming 2025 Keynote: Kelley Humphries-Mascoll
Keynote Speaker
Dr. Kelley Humphries-Mascoll uses her diverse educational and professional background to bring a new perspective to topics that have traditionally been viewed through a singular lens. She uses an interactive and lightly humorous presentation style to teach from her experiences spanning from her time as an assistant basketball coach and adapted physical educator, to team doctor for world championship Olympic and Paralympic teams and the Executive Director of a United States Paralympic sport.
Dr. Humphries-Mascoll earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Medical from Texas Woman’s University in 2007 where she played four years of college basketball. In 2008, she earned her Master of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Adapted Physical Education and Sport from Texas Woman’s University, and in 2014 her Master of Science in Human Performance and Exercise from the University of Houston Clearlake. Dr. Humphries-Mascoll also earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in2014.
She is a licensed paramedic in the State of Texas and has specialty certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Prehospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS). She has also acquired her International Certificate in Sports Chiropractic (ICSC).
Dr. Humphries-Mascoll has served as a member of the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee’s (USOPC) National Governing Body (NGBC) and Community Ambassador for the USOPC’s Council on Racial and Social Justice. She is a certified Athlete Safety Coordinator (ASC) the US Center for Safe Sport (USCSS) and serves on the USCSS Athlete’s with Disabilities Advisory Group. Additionally, Dr. Humphries-Mascoll serves on the USCSS Climate Survey Taskforce.
Dr. Humphries-Mascoll is a peer reviewer for the Journal of Chiropractic Medicine and the Journal of Manipulative and Physiological Therapeutics. She has also authored, co-authored and consulted on various articles related to chiropractic, sport, individuals with disabilities and social issues in healthcare.
