Homecoming 2025: Nell Smircina, MBA, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.OM
After researching the effects of acupuncture for post-surgical patients during her doctorate, Dr. Nell Smircina, MBA, DAOM, L.Ac., Dipl.OM has built and scaled her practice with a focus on bridging gaps in care for post-surgical patients with acupuncture. Dr. Nell is a passionate practitioner, but also a dedicated advocate for improving healthcare for patients. As the former Vice Chair of the American Society of Acupuncturists and past Chair of CSOMA, the oldest CA association for acupuncture and integrative medicine, she has seen the importance of not only clinical proficiency, but industry strength, in outcomes for care. Dr. Nell believes in a collaborative and integrative approach to care. She is currently an investor and advisor in the integrative health space, seeking a multidisciplinary practice to acquire and run for its next stages of growth.
