I was born and raised in Minnesota, but with a family originally from Argentina. I earned a BA in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College, an MS in biology from Minnesota State University-Mankato and a PhD in anthropology from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee.
My campus involvement
I am the chair of the Commission on Diversity and Inclusion and an assistant professor of social science and humanities at Northwestern.
My plans for the future
I am interested in education and how it transforms us into better people and making Northwestern the best place to be.
My life outside Northwestern
I am a wife and a mom to three beautiful kids.
