DESCRIPTION:This course certifies Reiki level 2 practitioners to practice Reiki\, a gentle healing technique for restoring health\, treating physical pain\, stimulating the body’s natural healing ability\, and reducing tension. Using lecture\, practice sessions\, evaluating results and discussion\, students will gain theoretical and practical elements that complement massage and other healthcare treatments\, such as chiropractic\, acupuncture\, and psychotherapy. In addition\, Reiki distance and group healing will be demonstrated and practiced. \n\n\n Recognize Reiki as a gentle form of energy medicine that may be used in various healthcare settings\, and with various types of populations.\nAssess the main energy centers of the body to restore balance to both the practitioner and the client.\n Demonstrate the use of Reiki energy to initiate innate health in both distance and group settings.\n\n\nPrerequisite: Reiki Level 1 completion and certificate needed to register for this course. Please bring Reiki Level 1 certificate of completion to the seminar.

SUMMARY:Chiropractic Acupuncture #1 of 4
DESCRIPTION:This four session 102 hour hybrid program provides doctors of chiropractic and T5+ chiropractic students the opportunity to learn the technique of acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) adjunctive therapies in levels of progression. Each session incorporates classroom and laboratory practicum to advance your acupuncture knowledge and clinical application skills.  It offers an overview and basic training in acupuncture theory\, techniques and traditional Chinese medical adjunctive therapies. \nIn order to qualify for the NBCE acupuncture exam and use acupuncture as an adjunct therapy\, you must complete this program in its entirety and successfully pass all of the examinations. \nAfter each weekend course is successfully completed\, an official CE transcript is emailed confirming hours of attendance. You must complete all the coursework to earn your CE hours. This means attending each session in its entirety\, completing online course content\, and passing online course exams associated with each session.  In addition\, to earn the final 102-hour Certificate of Completion\, you must pass both the final written and practical examinations. There are no exceptions.
